Sunday school classes are offered for all ages.
Adults gather in the Fellowship Hall at 9:30 a.m.
for the Sunday School Opening. This 15-minute
program includes a devotion, singing and
announcements.

Adult classes include:

Lectionary Class
A comprehensive study of the biblical texts appointed
for each Sunday of the year.
Top floor, behind the Luther rose window.

Augsburg Bible Study
A lecture-based Bible study using materials by the
ELCA publishing house, Augsburg-Fortress.
Large classroom, new building.

Middle Adult Class
A dialogical class discussing topics ranging from
Lutheran Confessions to contemporary issues.
Top floor, education building.

Young Adult Class
A round-table forum comprising 30- and
40-somethings.
Top floor, education building.

20-Something Class
Class exploring contemporary issues through a
biblical lens.
Top floor, education building.


Children and Youth gather at 9:30 am for
"Openings" as well. Sunday school teachers in the
primary and secondary classrooms use materials
published by Augsburg Fortress, Cokesbury and Cook
Indusries.
BIBLE STUDIES

Coffee and Conversation Bible Study
meets at 9:00 every Monday morning
in the Fellowship Hall

Teen Bible Study
meets each Thursday morning at 7:00
at Waffle House in Batesburg

Theology Downtown
meets the first and third Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m.
at Mi Rancho restaurant in Leesville

Masterworks Study
meets the third Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the
Commons Area of the church
